Revrend
See your soul threw open eyes.
See your soul threw open eyes.
Sharp earthen orbs looked into the horizon where the morning sun had just begun to rise. Sometime during the night it had flurried, coating the desert in a thin layer of ivory white snow. By the time the sun reach it's helix in the sky the snow would be done, evaporated and be as if it had never existed. But for now, the snow added beauty to the desolate land. The prisms of diamonds from the white mass reflected the purple, orange and red of the morning coming. It put the Terra in an almost twilight stage where ones dream world could be grasped. As if to capture this moment in time the large beast who was witnessing this site, lowered his long and elegant neck so that just his labrums brushed against the powdered colors. His pink tongue shot out and lapped once, twice into the snow, capturing the hues in a shock of cold liquid. As he raised his pate to its natural pose his long, darkly colored forelock shifted into the left side of his vision, the result did not totally hinder him but it did push him onward.
The brujo lumbered at a leisurely pace, his path unknown and uncaring. He was in no hurry , his time was unimportant. Sol Noxus was the territory he could call his own...but, only his own. Revrends Terra was a vest expanse of still green foliage, life thrived like the season was that of the summer. Birds sang from morning to night, rabbits multiplied like there was no tomorrow and squirrels had yet to beginning collecting their nuts for the winter. Because his land had longer summers that any other season. There were still areas of the land that he was discovering. The first few days of exploration had been exhilarating for the brute, everything he saw he could call his own. He'd never had anything he could say belonged to him before; everything had belonged to everyone ells in his home band, even he had belonged to the lead stallion. Then after he had left and become a rogue stallion, never staying in one place for any constant length of time there had never been the opportunity to say something was his. He'd roamed the world simply surviving one day at a time. Not thinking about the past or his future. Sol Noxus changed that for him though.
The vermilion stags pondering stopped as his nostrils flared, dragging in a sent that made his stomach clench. Sol Noxus had plenty of foliage and greener to live upon but Skeletal had little to no plants. He's ventured into the desert late that night had had been wandering ever since. He hadn't felt it till now but his body was starved. One couldn't eat just any plant, it could make you sick, be poisonous or have other side effects. Rev's history gave him the knowledge to know which plant in most climates were edible. His mind was on a bright green plant that had yet to wit from the fallen snow. It resembled that of the allow plant with long succulent leaved and jagged protective sides; it was actually a Sotol plant. When Revrend bit down and pulled a chunk from one of it's tendrils the taste was much more enjoyable than the bitter taste of the allow plant. It was in fact much like eating a mouthful of untouched spring grass, just with more liquid. As he continued to graze he watched the sun slowly rise in between bites.
